Las Fallas is one of Valencia’s most attractive festivals. It is held on Saturday 15th March in a contest of art, ingenuity and good taste to announce the arrival of spring. In just a few days , local residents bring out some seven hundred gigantic cardboard monuments called "ninots" that can reach up to 20 meters high, while the city is filled with colour and gunpowder.
Valencia receives over a million visitors every year, who walk round the city amidst the smell of gunpowder, drinking hot chocolate and munching on pumpkin fritters.
Come and enjoy the Fallas in Valencia!
Sagalés will take you there!
